Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on method of energy transfer. Energy flows through the hands of the practitioner into the body of the person being treated. It harmonizes and optimizes body/mind processes.
Elaine Abrams, Reiki Master-Instructor, was certified to teach Reiki in 1993 by John Harvey Gray, a Reiki Master through Mrs. Hawayo Takata. Mrs. Takata brought Reiki to the United States from Japan. In private Reiki practice in New York City since 1987, Elaine draws some of the workshop content from experience with clients in more than 13,000 private sessions. The Reiki Group she founded in 1988 provides practitioners with a continuing system of learning; prior training with Elaine is required.
During the two-day Reiki First Degree experiential workshop you will learn to scan the client’s body to perceive areas of reduced vitality. You will be attuned to channel the Reiki energy. You will learn the Reiki process and can immediately use it on yourself and others.
The Advanced Reiki Second Degree workshop is open only to those who have taken the Reiki First Degree basic workshop with Elaine.
